    Part Three Point Five
  by Sam Freek

The diversion came and went like a drunken swine
Gallivanted on a hobby horse I recaptured a swollen feeling
Mr fancy pants sang about mumbo jumbo in his Mums spandex leggings
I ate the weeds with a dash of criminal behaviour

Nothing appeared for months
I lied
It was only 3 weeks and 9 days
You should know, I know you should, I know

As I dissolved I opened up and and began to laugh with a mountaineer from another time
1927 to be exact

Forced positions brought wilted sunflowers and rain in a rubber dinghy that had seen better days
I coughed up my liver which was pink and sparkly from the Christmas merry go round

Never mind, wave quickly but never reach out into the void shouted the toad from afar
The tormented nosey parker made a random quick exit
Along came the flake which lead us all astray as did my Uncle Alfie
Yes I can hear you I said to the man from Liverpool, go home and present yourself to the dirty washing
Joy powder revealed your nimble beginnings with a loud bang

Spoken words arrived in fallen timbers but you miss the gist by miles
Fourteen women and two men run to the edge, the edge of what I do not know as it was a cloudy day
I'm calling this an emergency said the nodding donkey who was missing its left ear
Moving on
Swiftly
Backwards
